Bote UV plate beam splitters are suitable for applications in spectroscopy, fluorescence or biomedicine. They are made of premium UV grade fused silica and can use two different beam splitting ratios.

UV Fused Silica Substrates for UV Applications
UV-grade fused silica is an extremely high-purity synthetic amorphous silica that provides maximum transmission from 195 to 2100 nm.
This colorless, amorphous quartz glass combines an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient with good optical properties and has excellent transmittance in the ultraviolet region.
Transmission and uniformity exceed that of crystalline quartz, and there are no orientation and temperature instability issues inherent to crystalline morphology.
It does not fluoresce under UV light and is radiation resistant. For high-energy applications, the extremely high purity of fused silica eliminates microscopic defects that can cause laser damage.
50/50 or 30/70 split
The UV beamsplitter is suitable for a 45 degree angle of incidence and provides 50/50 and 30/70 reflectance/transmittance ratios in the spectral line range of 250-350nm.
This splitting ratio selection allows scientists to use the beamsplitter in a variety of applications that may require a uniform split, or a 30/70 split. The beam splitter also has a broadband anti-reflection coating on the back to minimize any ghosting.
